COSHH awareness

Our COSHH awareness course provides your staff with the necessary information to ensure your organisation is compliant with COSHH regulations. COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) is the law that requires employers to control substances that are hazardous to health. They will learn how to recognise potential hazards and put in place control measures for using them.

Fire awareness

Our Fire Awareness Course delivers critical safety guidance for employees so that when they are faced with a possible fire hazard, they will be able to take appropriate action. It also enables them to participate effectively in measures to reduce, if not eliminate, potential risks and fire hazards. Step by step, your staff will be instructed on legislation, what their personal responsibility might be, and how to react in the event of an emergency.

First aid refresher

This First Aid Refresher course provides a reminder of the core principles and skills required for basic first aid. It tops up first aiders’ knowledge, helping to boost their confidence and put them in the best position to act quickly and appropriately in the event of a workplace incident.

Food safety

The food safety course takes users on an interactive learning journey through the fundamentals of food hygiene. The engaging illustrations and interactive elements are designed to help users remember critical food safety information in line with UK legislation. They will learn everything from the most common hazards to look out for, to the best ways of avoiding contamination.

Lone working

Lone workers are at greater risk than workers who have colleagues and managers to help them if something goes wrong. This course will help you to understand some of the risks of working alone and what you can do to reduce those risks.

Manual handling

Our Manual Handling Awareness course is an essential guide to correct manual handling for those working in a low-risk environment such as an office. It will place employers in a proactive position by ensuring all participants have a good understanding of basic manual handling.

Office health and safety awareness

Our Office Health and Safety Awareness (OHSA) course covers key areas where legislation is in place to control risk and reduce work-related ill health. Employees will come away with an understanding of potential risks in working with computers; what is expected of them in relation to risk management and how they can take responsibility for their own health and safety at work.

Office risk assessment

In this course, you will be taken through each element of performing an office risk assessment, starting with identifying hazards before moving on to evaluating and controlling risk, and how to record your findings properly. This will help you comply with legal responsibilities and keep you, your employees and your business as safe as possible.

Returning to work safely

With businesses restarted and focused on working safely after the pandemic, we’ve all heard a lot about the “new normal” but what does that look like for staff in your workplace? This course will address many of the concerns your staff might have and offers tips on how to keep safe in the post-Covid-19 workplace.

Slips, trips & falls

Our slips, trips and falls training course identifies the main causes of accidents caused by tripping over or slipping on surfaces and how these can be prevented. It looks at what actions should be taken if an accident happens and the expectations of both employer and employee. By implementing these learning outcomes, your organisation can help prevent the most common cause of workplace injury.

Working at height

Our working at heights training course educates staff on how to assess risks and use the correct equipment to ensure their safety. It covers both high risks that require thorough planning, and appropriate safety measures for low risks such as using a ladder or a kick stool for a short period of time.
