Ideagen’s women in tech programs earn global recognition
Ideagen has been recognized for its efforts in empowering women to consider careers in technology by the TrustRadius 2025 Tech Cares awards. The award celebrates organizations that demonstrate meaningful commitment to people, communities and environmental responsibility.
For Ideagen, there was special recognition for our programmes designed to shift the perception of the tech industry among women and girls. According to UNESCO, only 35% of STEM graduates worldwide are women, a figure that has remained remarkably unchanged for the past decade (source:UNESCO).
Ideagen’s award-winning efforts span a number of transformative initiatives designed to inspire and enable more women to thrive in technology roles.
The business’ Women in Ideagen Network provides mentorship programs, leadership development and career growth opportunities - ensuring female employees have the tools, allies and encouragement to achieve their ambitions.
The company’s partnership with Nottingham Girls Academy, established in 2019, has become a cornerstone programme challenging traditional stereotypes about women in tech. Through hands-on workshops, career fairs and “Be Like Me” role model sessions, young women gain direct access to female tech professionals and real-world industry experience - helping them see technology as a place they belong.
Building on this foundation, Ideagen held its inaugural Women of Impact event earlier this year designed to encourage more females to consider a career in sales. This platform brought together sales women across the organization and the wider community to share experiences, overcome barriers and build lasting professional networks. The event tackled key challenges such as imposter syndrome, thriving in traditionally male-dominated environments and balancing career ambitions with personal life in the fast-paced world of tech.
Ideagen’s commitment to inspiring future talent doesn’t stop there. The company’s Think Big educational initiative, developed in partnership with Nottingham Forest Community Trust, has reached more than 56,227 students across 55 schools, with a specialized focus on encouraging female participation in STEM subjects.
This award underscores Ideagen’s sustained commitment to creating meaningful opportunities, driving cultural change and building a more inclusive future within the technology sector.
