Al has worked at UKAS for nearly 9 years, starting as an assessment manager during the CPA-ISO 15189 transition project. Prior to UKAS, Al worked as a Biomedical Scientist in NHS Cellular Pathology departments for 15 years.
Al works with Healthcare stakeholders UK-wide, including the IBMS, the RCPath, BIVDA and NHS representatives from all four UK nations, as well as representing UKAS and the UK on national and international Accreditation and Standardisation committees.
