How the State Civil Aviation Authority of Azerbaijan achieved a significant increase in their USOAP score using Ideagen Q-Pulse

The State Civil Aviation Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan oversees all civil aviation in Azerbaijan. They audit operators and, where any discrepancies are found, they will follow up by consistently monitoring their operations, applying safety management principles to create risk profiles for each operator.

We spoke with Zohrab Sh. Hasilov, who is the Head of Quality Control & Rulemaking/Assistant to National Continuous Monitoring Coordinator (USOAP). Zohrab works for the State Inspectorate on Civil Aviation Flight Safety, which is a separate independent entity within the Civil Aviation Authority. Zohrab started his career in the Aviation industry working for 14 years as a member of the Cabin Crew before moving into different positions including Audit and Quality.
