Corporate news

Ideagen has been named an innovative vendor in governance, risk and compliance (GRC) by independent analyst firm Verdantix. The recognition highlights Ideagen as a leader in both GRC technology and agentic AI.

Verdantix's Market Insight: 14 Innovative Vendors Advancing GRC In 2026 report assessed a number of leading software companies looking at capabilities across AI, risk intelligence, data architecture and user experience. They specifically called out Ideagen’s agentic AI technology Ideagen Mazlan and adaptive approach to health, safety and quality risk management.

"This recognition proves what we've always believed - the future of GRC isn't just about compliance, it's about intelligent systems that evolve with your business," said Ben Dorks, CEO of Ideagen.

"Firms are caught between accelerating regulatory change and manual processes that can't keep up. Ideagen closes that gap by combining the judgement organisations need with the speed modern compliance demands. This isn't about replacing human expertise - it's about amplifying it.

“We're building AI-first technology that learns, adapts and becomes more valuable with every interaction."

AI that thinks for itself

Launched in December 2025, Ideagen Mazlan works autonomously to monitor compliance frameworks, automate incident triage and provide recommendations that adapt to incident trends and regulatory changes in real time.

This ensures every action and recommendation is immediately aligned with the latest regulatory requirements, geographic context and company policies and procedures. When new regulations come into force, Mazlan's agents analyse business impact and generate action plans - enabling immediate risk response for customers in heavily regulated sectors and confidence that actions taken or decisions made are compliant.

The report stated: "Mazlan's market differentiator is its continuous feedback loop, which ensures that outputs evolve with incident patterns and regulatory change, offering firms a more adaptive and resilient approach to managing EHSQ risk."

It also identified that the platform is sophisticated enough for strategic risk planning but simple enough for operational teams - a rare combination in a market where complexity often wins over usability.

"On-site teams also benefit from Mazlan; the platform enables quick incident logging and management through an intuitive and user-friendly interface, requiring minimal time and effort on the part of users, while offering immediate contextual subject-matter guidance to improve process efficiency."

The recognition comes as organisations face growing regulatory pressure and more complex risks. Verdantix's Global Corporate Survey 2025 found that nearly 20% of firms expect their GRC budgets to grow by 25% to 50%, with 32% already using AI for compliance and regulatory change management.
