Ideagen wearable safety device finalist in leading safety awards
Ideagen has been named a finalist in Tomorrow's Health & Safety (THS) Awards 2026, recognizing excellence and innovation in workplace health and safety.
The shortlisting is recognition for Ideagen Reactec's R-Link Watch - a cutting-edge wearable technology solution that delivers real-time monitoring of vibration exposure to help prevent hand-arm vibration syndrome (HAVS). It also incorporates proximity detection to reduce risk and improve protection for workers across multiple sectors.
The THS Awards celebrate organizations and individuals who are driving positive change in health and safety practices across the UK. This year's finalists represent the most impactful and forward-thinking contributions to protecting people at work, with winners to be announced following a public voting period.
Ben Dorks, CEO of Ideagen, said: "Going to work, doing a good job, providing for your family, should not make you sick or cause you harm. That’s a fundamental principle that few would argue against. And yet it’s a risk that workers in certain industries face every day.
"Minimizing that risk is what underpins all our health and safety solutions. We're incredibly proud to see the R-Link Watch recognized as a finalist in the THS Awards which reflects our commitment to investing in innovative technology solutions that make a real difference in keeping people safe at work."
The watch combines advanced sensor technology with intuitive software to help organizations protect their workforce from long-term occupational health risks and comply with health and safety regulations. The device monitors workers' exposure to vibration from power tools and machinery, providing instant alerts when unsafe exposure limits are approached.
Ideagen Reactec, seen as a pioneer in wearable safety technology, joined Ideagen in August 2025, strengthening the global technology company’s portfolio of EHS solutions.
Public voting for the THS Awards 2026 is now open until Monday 9 March and people can cast their votes here.
