What EHS leaders need to know about AI, straight from the analyst who studies it and the product leader who builds it.
AI in EHS has moved from curiosity to business imperative - but what does that shift actually mean day to day?
Join Brittany Sayers, Senior Analyst at Verdantix and lead author of the 2026 Green Quadrant for EHS Software, and Krystal Truax, VP Product at Ideagen, for a conversation grounded in Verdantix's research and real customer data. They'll cover where EHS AI adoption actually stands today versus a year ago, why a “subject-matter-expert agent” is a very different thing from a generic copilot and what's changed since Verdantix first introduced AI into its Green Quadrant evaluation criteria.

She leverages her EHS practitioner experience in EHS data analysis and understanding of corporate health and safety priorities to produce research that tackles the overlapping issues of regulatory compliance and workplace safety. Prior to joining Verdantix, Brittany worked as a Senior EHS Specialist at Henkel, focusing on EHS compliance reporting, and was responsible for the global rollout of Henkel's centralized safety management system. Brittany holds an MEng in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Edinburgh.
Krystal leads a multi-million dollar EHSQ software portfolio serving customers across four continents, with a focus on high-risk industries including mining, pharmaceutical manufacturing, aviation and utilities. She specializes in the tension between technology innovation and regulatory compliance — specifically, how organizations decide when to move ahead of compliance frameworks, when to wait for regulatory clarity and how to build trust with customers operating under strict environmental and safety obligations. Her perspective on AI is grounded in real product decisions made inside regulated environments, not in theory. She is one of the most credible voices available on what AI adoption actually looks like when compliance is non-negotiable.
