Scott Bowen has over 23 years of experience in the natural gas industry and currently serves as a supervisor in Duke Energy’s natural gas business department. In this role, he oversees the daily safe operations of Duke Energy’s gas grid and plays a key role in designing future development projects. Scott also manages Duke Energy’s internal tool calibration and repair lab in Cincinnati, which supports operational efficiency across the organization. Scott’s expertise in system integration and operational technology led him to become Duke Energy’s subject matter expert on the Ideagen platform. He is responsible for managing tool inventory, regulator station data and lock-out-tag-out (LOTO) energy control procedures. His efforts have been instrumental in optimizing operations and enhancing system reliability and he continues to explore new ways to expand Ideagen capabilities across Duke Energy’s operations.
