Products and Services Offered

MK Insight is the market-leading risk-based audit management software solution which enables organizations across the globe to streamline their core internal audit processes and go beyond compliance to deliver true strategic value to their business. MK Insight is highly configurable to align to your team’s desired methodology and is designed with an intuitive user interface allowing users to easily adapt to its use. Details regarding licensing and corresponding services are provided below:   

MK Insight Perpetual User Licenses: Perpetual User Licenses which provides full access to MK Insight Management Software. When purchasing perpetual user licenses MK Insight can be deployed on premise or combined with a full hosting service.

MK Insight Perpetual Business User Licenses: Perpetual User Licenses which provides access for an unlimited number of business users/auditees to view and provide updates on assigned Action Items (i.e. Findings, Recommendations, Action Plans)

MK Insight SaaS Licenses: Software as a Service / Subscription User Licenses which provide full access to MK Insight Management Software along with hosting services.

Implementation Support Services: Project Management and Consulting services provided to support your team in the implementation of MK Insight. Services billed at daily rate based upon number of days required.

Super User Training Course: live three-day training course tailored to designated super-users to provide a comprehensive overview of all MK Insight End User functionality as well as administrator type functions. The use of MK Insight does not require any Technical Training, all administration options have been designed to be managed by nominated members of the Audit team.

Auditor Training Course: live one-day training course which will provide additional end-users with a comprehensive overview of the user functionality within MKinsight. It will also provide users with the ability to utilize the functionality on a day to day basis to support their auditing role.

Train the Training Course: live one-day training course which will provide super users the ability to train additional users within their organization to utilize MK Insight. 

Hosting Services: A full hosting service (billed annually) is available for MK Insight which includes the following:

  • Secure and reliable hosting for our MKinsight application
  • Daily offsite back-ups enabling the system to be quickly restored in the unlikely event of disaster.
  • 99% system availability
  • Deployment of all system updates
  • Routine server maintenance ensuring high performance and security

Maintenance and Support Services: Annual maintenance and support services for perpetual license customers include the following:

  • Live helpdesk support
  • Comprehensive Functional and Technical Documentation
  • Access to current version updates
  • Access to new version upgrades

Installation Services: Full installation services are available to Perpetual License customers who wish to deploy MK Insight on premise but require Morgan Kai to perform the work on their behalf. Services billed at daily rate based upon number of days required.

Technical Services: Additional technical services are available for MK Insight Customers, services billed at daily rate based upon number of days required. Available services include:

  • Data Migration Services
  • Custom Report Template Development
  • Custom Notification Template Development

DISCLAIMER

Hourly rate depends on services scope and purchase agreement of type of individual doing the work. Hourly rate MSRP ranges from Standard technical hourly of $150 to certified experts hourly rate of $350 with a % discount.

Warranty and Return Policies

  1. Warranties and Representations
    1. Each Party warrants that:
      1. it has the right and power to enter into each Agreement;
      2. an authorised representative has executed or will execute each Agreement; and
      3. it will comply with any applicable laws and regulations pertaining to any Agreement and the provision or receipt of Services thereunder.
    2. Morgan Kai warrants that the Services will be performed in a professional and workmanlike manner in accordance with recognised industry standards. If Client believes that the Services were not performed in accordance with the warranty in the preceding sentence, Client will notify Morgan Kai within thirty (30) days after the Services were performed, and Morgan Kai, as it sole obligation and Client’s sole remedy, will re-perform the Services at no additional cost.
    3. Morgan Kai and its suppliers exercise no control whatsoever over the content of the information passing through their systems. Clients and users must exercise their own due diligence before distributing and/or relying on information available on the Internet, and must determine that they have all necessary rights to copy, publish, or otherwise distribute such information under copyright and other applicable laws. Neither Morgan Kai nor its suppliers will be liable for any consequences of providing email Services, including those suffered as a result of delivering or accessing information or content, such as accessing information with offensive, inaccurate or inappropriate content, the possibility of contracting computer viruses, or unauthorised access to or alteration, theft or destruction of any data, files, programs, procedures, or information through accident, fraudulent means or devices, or any other method, except where such damage occurs as result of Morgan Kai’s or its supplier’s negligence.
    4. Whilst reasonable skill and care is used in designing the Software, it is supplied to you “as is” and except insofar as the same cannot be excluded by law or set out elsewhere in this Agreement, no warranty is given by us (a) in relation to the Software or the uses to which it may be put or its fitness or suitability for any particular purpose or under any special conditions.
    5. In respect of Hardware or Services provided directly by Morgan Kai to the Client, except as set out elsewhere in this Agreement, the only warranty given by Morgan Kai to the Client is that Morgan Kai shall in accordance with normally accepted professional standards make good as quickly as is reasonably possible and at its own expense any defects identified on any relevant Acceptance Certificate or which develops during a period of thirty (30) days after delivery of the Hardware or performance of the Services.
    6. Morgan Kai does not warrant that the Products are free from minor errors not materially affecting functionality or performance. Such errors shall not be rectified in the absence of a prior written agreement to the contrary.
    7. The undertaking given in this Clause shall not apply if the Product has been altered by any Party other than Morgan Kai without authorisation or has been operated or run on any platform or in any environment inappropriate for the Product.
    8. MOGAN KAI EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY (BY ANY TERRITORY OR JURISDICTION) TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AND FURTHER MORGAN KAI EXPRESSLY EXCLUDES ANY WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR MERCHANTABILITY TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
  2. Return of Products and Cancellation
    1. The return of Products shall be at the sole discretion of Morgan Kai but in any circumstance where Morgan Kai agrees to accept return of Products for any reason then the Client shall:
      1. advise Morgan Kai within seven (7) days from the date of delivery of Products by Morgan Kai of the reason(s) for the return of Products;
      2. obtain a returns form from Morgan Kai prior to any return of Products;
      3. complete and return to Morgan Kai the returns form to arrive at Morgan Kai within fourteen (14) working days from the date of delivery of Products by the
      4. properly pack the Products in the original packing where possible and include a detailed packing list;
      5. return the Products in the condition in which they were received to arrive at Morgan Kai within fourteen (14) working days from the date of delivery of Products by Morgan Kai; and
      6. take no action to affect any warranties that may cover the Products.
    2. Morgan Kai shall be entitled to levy to the Client a reasonable administration charge (amounting to no more than the cost of return delivery and the staff time spent on handling the return) in respect of return of Products and the Client shall pay the same to Morgan Kai within thirty (30) days receipt of a valid invoice.
    3. The Client shall not be entitled to cancel for its convenience any Order for Product(s) and/or Service(s) or any part thereof except upon terms which reimburse Morgan Kai for loss of profit and all costs, charges and expenses incurred by Morgan Kai in respect of the Product(s) and/or Service(s) or any part thereof up to the date of receipt by Morgan Kai of written notification of cancellation from the Client.
    4. Cancellations or postponements of a scheduled professional Service may be made with no penalty if cancelled or postponed twenty (20) or more business days before the start of the Service. Cancellations or postponements of between twenty (20) and eleven (11) business days, a charge of fifty percent (50%) of the cost of the Service will be due, cancellation of between six (6) and ten (10) business days, seventy-five percent (75%) of the cost of the Service will be due and cancellation of less than five (5) days of the scheduled delivery, one hundred percent (100%) of the cost of the Service will be due.
