Ideagen’s Gael Ltd work with leading university to find the next generation of developers
Scottish software company, Gael Ltd, has been working with a leading university in a bid to unearth the next generation of software developers.
The East Kilbride-based quality and safety management experts, who boast over 2000 customers globally, sponsored a 12 week project with Glasgow Caledonian University’s third year students.
The group were tasked by Gael – a wholly owned subsidiary of the Ideagen PLC Group – in scoping and then building a document management system from scratch, with Gael’s team mentoring around 90 students during the project.
We were extremely impressed by the calibre of the projects and the dedication that the Glasgow Caledonian University students had shown throughout the 12 weeks. The standard of work was extremely high which meant picking a winner was extremely difficult for our team at Gael. We were very impressed by both the functionality of the winning solution and the team’s presentation to the judging panel.
