SOFTWARE developers Ideagen Group PLC is to attend an innovative and interactive “invitation only” forum alongside some of the leading names in the UK healthcare industry.
The Healthcare Strategy Forum, to be held in the De Vere Venues, Heythorp Park in Oxfordshire, is a unique event which provides attendees with critical insight and a chance to share understanding with experts and key decision makers.
With key guest speakers ranging from Dr Paul Stevens, Medical Director at East Kent University NHS Foundation Trust, to Mark Charters, Chief Executive of Isle of Man Department of Health and Social Care, the event ensures the delivery of up to date and relevant topics and presentations from industry figureheads.
Kevin McSharry, Head of Healthcare at Ideagen Group PLC, said: “We are very excited about this event and our team is looking forward it. It promises to be immensely beneficial one for attendees.
“It’s important that events such as the Healthcare Strategy Forum take place as it gives delegates and key people in the industry a chance to gain critical insight, initiate new contacts and share understanding with other key decision makers and experts.
“We are hopeful of putting our side across in terms of technology, and how modern technology and software can be a real shining light for the healthcare industry in the coming years.”
The Healthcare Strategy Forum takes place on Tuesday, 23rd, and Wednesday, 24th, June.
The Forum was launched following the launch of Government policies which herald the most far reaching changes within the NHS since its inception in 1948. A White Paper published on July 12 2010 began to give some detail about the new landscape but left many areas unclear with a strong implication that the government expects people, not government, to create ‘Big Society’.
In addition, major changes to the core structure of the NHS were introduced in April 2013 with PCTs and SHAs now replacing CCGs.
