Ideagen is delighted to announce it has received four nominations at this year’s CIR Magazine Risk Management Awards.

Ideagen, which provides information management software to organisations in highly regulated industries, has been shortlisted in the ‘Operational Risk Technology of the Year’, ‘Risk Management Product of the Year’, ‘Public Safety’ and ‘User Implementation Award’ categories.

The company was recognised for its work with the UK's RSSB, the rail safety and standards body, and the international accountancy firm, BDO. Covalent Software Ltd, recently acquired by Ideagen, has been nominated for the ‘Operational Risk Technology of the Year’ category.

David Hornsby, Ideagen’s CEO, said: “We are absolutely delighted to receive not one but four nominations. This is evidence that we are clearly aligned with both RSSB and BDO who share our vision on achieving proactive risk management.

“This particular event has grown in stature since its inception seven years ago. It is this collaborative thinking between Ideagen, RSSB and BDO that has made these nominations possible.

“The recognition of Covalent is also a hugely positive one and we are extremely excited about the integration of Covalent and the potential that brings to the wider Ideagen Group in the weeks and months ahead.”

RSSB and Ideagen are working together in a £4.9million project to replace the UK rail industry’s incident reporting database. BDO’s Risk Advisory Services has realised substantial benefits from its use of the Ideagen Pentana audit automation software. Meanwhile, Covalent has been recognised for its work with Admiral, the leading insurance company, who use their software to manage, monitor and report on operational risk.

Steve Maggs, Chief Operating Officer at Ideagen Covalent, said: “The project with Admiral is evidence that our software is a proven solution for Risk and Event Management. This nomination is testament to the innovative approach we have taken in helping Admiral adopt risk management technologies in the cloud.”

The Risk Management Awards are now into its 7th year and recognise individuals, organisations and teams that have significantly added to the understanding and practice of risk management.

The winners will be announced at a gala dinner and awards ceremony on November, 10th 2016 at the Millennium Hotel in Mayfair, London.
