INFORMATION management software vendor, Ideagen, has shown its commitment to airline safety by part sponsoring a key BAE Systems event.

The Regional Aircraft Flight Operations Support 2016 conference, which takes place near Glasgow’s Prestwick Airport, attracts BAE146 and Avro Regional Jet operators from all across the globe as well as Operators of the ATP turboprop.

In recent years, the two day conference has sparked key discussions on aspects of aviation safety including topics on flight safety and integrity, AFM and FCOM, simulators, fuel burn and environment, software, EFBs and iPads and unusual operations such as unpaved ops.

Ahead of the event on Tuesday, March 8th and Wednesday, March 9th at the Western House Hotel, Ideagen has shown its commitment to flight safety and integrity by presenting and partly sponsoring the delegate dinner.

Stephen Morrison, Head of Flight Operations and Support at BAE Systems, said: “We are delighted to welcome Ideagen to our annual BAE Systems Regional Aircraft Flight Ops support event and thank them for their participation and partial sponsorship of the conference dinner.

“Primarily focused on flight safety and integrity, Ideagen were specially invited guests to the conference to promote their aviation safety management products and services to airlines and operator management pilots. BAE Systems value the support of Ideagen and of the increased networking and scope that support offers.”

Presentations this year include addresses from Swiss Global Airlines and Malmo Airlines as well as an assessment of flight safety data throughout the previous twelve months.

Steven Cespedes, Ideagen’s Head of Aviation, said: “The BAE Systems Regional Aircraft Flight Operations Support is now in its 11th year and is an event that we at Ideagen look forward to.

“The event itself presents likeminded and experienced aviation individuals with a platform to discuss the latest trends and developments in the industry, as well as network and share ideas on improving flight safety levels across the sector.

"This year, it is a pleasure to part sponsor the delegate dinner and we are also excited about presenting at the event."
