Ideagen’s annual user conference took place earlier this week and has been hailed as a resounding success by customers.
Over 150 organisations were represented at ‘Horizons’ Conference in Nottingham for the company’s annual UK user group between November 1st and 2nd.
Hosted at the East Midlands Conference Centre (EMCC), delegates were treated to two days of quality, safety, performance, audit and risk management insights including customer presentations from the likes of Johnson Matthey, Network Rail and Telefonica.
Product roadmap sessions during the event, which focused on key functionality and development milestones for Ideagen’s product streams, also proved popular.
And Sir Ranulph Fiennes, the world’s greatest living explorer, superbly closed the gala dinner with tales of being the only man alive to have travelled around the Earth’s circumpolar surface and crossing the Antarctica on foot.
This week, customers hailed the event as a huge success. Sarah Johnson, Regulatory & Compliance Officer at Orthoplastics, said: “I really enjoyed the conference and it has given me lots of ideas to improve our Q-Pulse system. Everyone was very welcoming; great presentations and a lovely evening gala. I am looking forward to the next one.”
Danny Joyce, Q-Pulse Application Controller at Magnox, said: “I will be looking forward to attending next year.” And Gavin Chatto, Quality Officer at Johnson Matthey, added: “Horizons was an absolutely superb event. It gave us a great feel for Ideagen as a company and an insight into what is around the corner in regards to its product range.”
Ben Dorks, Ideagen’s Chief Customer Officer, said: “Ideagen Horizons proved to be a fantastic event for all involved with Ideagen, including our customers and partners.
“It was great to see everyone come together and really embrace what we were trying to achieve during the two days. I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who helped make the 2016 event a massive success!
“It really was a fantastic couple of days and plans are already under way to make next year’s event even bigger and better. A huge well done to everyone involved in organising and attending the event.”
