He received the "President's Commendation" from the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management in 2008 and became their first-ever 'Specialist Fellow' in 2010. Having chaired numerous conferences on Behavioral Safety and founded Europe's largest behavioral safety event, he has impacted over 400 major organizations worldwide. Tim authored acclaimed books such as "Affective Safety Management" and "Total Safety Culture."


Tim collaborates with magazines like Safety and Health Practitioner and produces safety training videos for various platforms, including the BBC.

Jason Anker was paralyzed from the waist down due to an avoidable incident on a construction site in 1993 when he fell off a ladder. He was 24 years old.


His story of his life before the incident, the day of the incident, the time spent in hospital and rehab, his initial release from hospital and his struggle with life over the last 30 years is an honest and sometimes graphic account of the devastation the incident has had on Jason and his family and friends.


For 30 years he was unable to talk openly about his life-changing work-related incident. Now he uses it to inform everyone from business leaders to shop floor workers of the importance of a workplace safety culture.
