As a Technical Product Manager, you will be a leader within our Product Management team, liaising with internal stakeholders, our R&D team and Customer Success Departments!  We are looking for a technology strategist who is passionate about software and who can create a technology strategy for our portfolio to catapult our products into dominant market positions by delighting customers, outpacing competitors and surprising the market.
 
The strategy you create will define how technology is used in our product portfolio to support our business strategy and drive growth. Commercially-minded, you will use a business-growth perspective together with your affinity for software technology to define a transformational roadmap for the technology that underpins our software suites for Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental management; internal audit and risk management; and document-centric collaboration. If you are passionate about software and creating technology strategy for our portfolio then this role is for you!
 
Key responsibilities: 
 
  •  Be ambitious, using your experience of technology strategy to create a road map for the portfolio 
  •  Excellent communication and team building skills whilst acting as a bridge between the R & D team and the product 
  • Providing exceptional customer service and leadership skills through the running user groups, focus groups, workshops and meetings
  • Working with departments across Ideagen and Customers to support business needs and growth
  • Acting as a bridge between the Product and R&D teams, you will lead collaborative development and execution of technology strategy
  • Resolving and/or managing any queries or issues that may arise and being able to facilitate any changes across products and consultants
  • An awareness and an interest in researching the technology market to create opportunities to create business growth 
  • Commercialising the technology strategy against future revenue goals
  • Proven experience of thought leadership- developing your ideas to support the Ideagen brand, networking through conferences to continually find methods to make sure the product is in line with the market and business needs

To be considered for this position, you must have: 
 
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience within a technology or product management role
  •  Experience of managing products and projects including ambitious strategy creation, policy development and execution
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, coach and lead teams internally and externally
  • Demonstrable project management skills, from implementation to project closure
  • Exceptional written skills and customer service skills when responding to product related queries
  • Excellent time managements skills, proficient in managing your own workload, with experience of meeting deadlines
  • Experience working within the software industry would be highly advantageous
