Salary

£35,000 - £40,000

Acting as the glue between various departments, you will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of business-critical company Product delivery related projects. You will work in conjunction with internal departments and key stakeholders to lead the wider collective department and contributing teams through the whole project lifecycle; from initiation to project closure.

Reporting into our Chief Marketing Officer, you will identify and manage potential project risks and ultimately deliver projects within the agreed tolerances, timescales, scope, budget. transition between departments delivering key projects in an orderly fashion to further the success of Ideagens’ growth.

Key responsibilities:

  • Take ownership and responsibility for delivering each project in collaboration with Product, Product Marketing, Marketing, Sales, Sales Enablement, R&D, Development
  • Produce project documentation to initiate and execute projects, as well as keep the wider teams, CMO, Exec Management abreast of the status of each forthcoming product related milestone/ initiatives
  • Own the day to day management of the project through all delivery phases, monitoring progress against milestones ensuring all activities are completed and contributions are made on time
  • Build effective relationships with key stakeholders and contributors at all levels
  • Communicate and report on project status, addressing issues or barriers to progress, escalating as appropriate
  • Create and manage a robust risk management approach ensuring that risks and issues are managed and reported on throughout the project’s lifecycle
  • Define and measure success metrics
  • Arrange and conduct sign off meetings to handover completion of each project to the relevant department

To be considered for this position, you must have:

Essential 

  • At least 5 years’ experience in a project management role
  • PRINCE2 qualified at a practitioner level
  • Proven experience in defining project scope, goals and deliverables that support the project requirements
  • Demonstrable experience in delivering multiple projects on time, in scope and within budget
  • A natural drive to achieve outstanding results
  • Ability to maintain overall control of the project budget and resources, ensuring action is taken to prevent resource/budget increasing
  • Ability to plan and schedule project timelines and milestones identifying and allocating appropriate resources
  • Proven ability to pre-empt potential risks and undertake appropriate mitigation actions
  • Excellent time management skills, including a proven ability to prioritise tasks from multiple projects in a demanding environment to tight deadlines
  • Ability to build effective relationships with key stakeholders/ Contributors across the business

Desirable

  • Experience working with technical projects
  • Previous experience working within an IT or Technology environment
