As a Sales Account Executive, you are part of a leading, driven and ambitious team based in our Ruddington office. As a key part of our Digital Sales Team, you will drive revenue from self-generated and inbound leads. You will be responsible for the complete sales cycle, from qualification through to close. You will become an expert in your sector and be comfortable and confident demonstrating the products from our software suite.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide competent production and execution of sales strategies for selected products and markets
  • Work with supplied leads from the SDR team and hunt down new leads from your own activities
  • Research the needs of the organisation and understand their buying processes
  • Use digital media platforms to strategically sell our software
  • Drive the sale from initial contact to close, adopting appropriate communication styles and contact, and using a multitude of technologies from your desk
  • Upscale wherever possible to sell value and outcomes
  • Build a "cast of characters" across teams and sectors, including those within the C-Suite of major companies
  • Achieve and exceed agreed sales targets by maintaining and developing a strong pipeline of opportunities
  • Provide consistently accurate reporting of sales activity and forecasts
  • Take personal responsibility to support, comply, seek guidance and demonstrate knowledge of Company Policy and Procedures

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Proven experience of software sales experience and applying a Sales Process with successful outcomes
  • A "Hunter" attitude and the drive to maintain this
  • Outstanding enthusiasm, passion and the determination to succeed
  • Experience in lead generation with the ability to qualify genuine opportunities from these leads
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience of above the line negotiation
  • A natural enthusiasm and passion for sales alongside a determination to succeed
  • Experience of high value pipeline management, pipeline flow and forecasting
  • A desire to continually learn, pick up news skills and increase your knowledge of the sector and product
  • Confident and a willingness to ‘pick up the phone’ to generate opportunity
  • Ability to identify and articulate Value and Outcomes
