Dependent on experience

As our Consultant Manager, your role is to manage the Consultancy teams who are responsible for successful implementation of Ideagen's products. With a key focus to strengthen the domain knowledge within the consultancy team, broaden the capacity of the team and enhance the focus of the team and their role to a more flexible and adaptable environment, this role will ensure that our key focus of reducing time to value for our customer base is realised.

This position will bring oversight of the Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental division within the Service Delivery function of Ideagen and will align the delivery of the services provided by the teams in line with the business and customer needs.

Key responsibilities:

  • Define, present and manage the Consultant, Configuration and Implementation Team strategy for the current, and future financial year.
  • Management of the team leads and team managers to ensure alignment to strategy is maintained and targets on capacity, lead times and financial targets are achieved
  • Working in collaboration with the rest of the Service Delivery function to ensure processes are defined, meet expectations and needs of the consultancy and configuration teams
  • Ownership of the integration of new acquisition teams into the consultancy and configuration teams in the QHSE division of Service Delivery by providing a framework which onboards each acquisition effectively and within an agreed timescale
  • Working with each of the Service Delivery teams to provide feedback, guidance and action activities to support and ensure realisation of targets across the service delivery function
  • Working with the rest of the business to provide feedback, guidance and support to continually elevate the business needs moving forward
  • Report into the Head of Customer Delivery in relation to success of targets set, strategy progress, team progress and activities to support the service delivery function as well as support to the wider business

To be considered for this role, you must have:


  • Minimum of 4 years' experience within the service delivery function of a software company
  • Demonstrable experience of the management of teams
  • Demonstrable experience of implementation of software within a customer environment of any sector
    Proven ability to address customer issues: working with your team to come to a satisfactory resolution for all parties
    Proven ability to work autonomously, to deadlines and meet your KPIs
    Proven ability to communicate effectively to all stakeholders


  • Experience either as a customer or as a consultant for at least 1 of Ideagens' core products
  • Experience of acquisition integration activities
