You will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific programmes and their subsidiary projects, ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals. They will be responsible for the coordination of multi-disciplinary project teams across multiple concurrent workstreams to deliver our large complex programmes, to high profile clients, focussing primarily on our SaaS proprietary safety management system to the transportation sector.

Key responsibilities:

  • Carrying out sales handover meetings to ensure all required information is present
  • Leading customer introductions and kick off meeting
  • Leading the detailed definition of the project scope
  • Production of Statement of Work including client approval
  • Production of Project plans including client approval
  • Running and documenting risk log workshop / meetings
  • Creation and maintenance of project action and issues log
  • Forming project team/identifying required resources internally
  • Communicating forecast programme resource requirements to functional heads
  • Scheduling appropriate resources
  • Tracking progress to plan
  • Monitoring risk and acting on required mitigations
  • Tracking milestones and liaising with finance on related payment gates
  • Production of project highlight reports for both management and customer
  • Scheduling and leading regular project updates as appropriate
  • Managing project change processes with the client and liaising with account managers as required
  • Communicating with the customer on all project issues throughout
  • Communicating and liaising with other internal departments throughout
  • Producing sign off documentation and ensuring customer sign off is achieved
  • Producing handover documentation for support teams

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • At least 5 years' experience in a programme or senior project management role delivering software implementations across a variety of products
  • Prince 2 qualified to practitioner level
  • Advanced knowledge of the project lifestyle with proven ability to deliver projects on time, in scope and within budget
  • Experience in defining project scope, goals and deliverables that support the project requirements
  • Demonstrable experience in delivering multiple projects concurrently
  • Ability to maintain overall control of the Project budget and resources, ensuring action is taken to prevent resource/scope creep
  • Proven success in providing leadership in communicating the Project aims and success factors to all stakeholders, both internal and external
  • Ability to plan and schedule project timelines and milestones allocating appropriate resources and using appropriate tools, specifically MS Project
  • Experience in compiling and managing key Project Documentation and controls, such as Statement of Works, Highlight reports, Project Plans
  • Excellent customer relationship management skills in order to build, develop and grow business relationships and manage customer expectations


  • Experience with delivering safety and quality management systems (or equivalent)
  • Experience of SaaS based safety software solutions in the transportation sector
  • A demonstrable understanding of issue management, regulatory safety reporting, audit and risk management in the aviation sector
