Apprenticeship Details:

You will receive an 18-month Level 3 CIPD training programme and thorough coaching and support to ensure you reach the height of your potential. Upon successful completion of your apprenticeship, you will have the opportunity to apply for Associate membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD). Learning outcomes include how to;

  • Interpret theories and models that underpin effective adult learning and group behaviour
  • Facilitate and deliver learning in a face-to-face, blended and digital environment as appropriate
  • Plan training to meet a variety of different needs within a business environment
  • Measure the impact of a learning intervention on delegates and give constructive feedback
  • Link learning and development activity to business objectives
  • Build good relationships with colleagues and key stakeholders
  • Identify and analyse learning needs: establish team and individual capability and learning gaps

Key responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with and provide support to colleagues within the Learning & Development team
  • First point of contact for general L&D queries and be responsible for all related administration, ensuring a get it right first-time ethos is adopted
  • Managing events calendar including, scheduling training sessions and learning events, preparing materials and meeting with facilitators
  • Monitoring and responding to email and telephone queries from colleagues across the organisation
  • Providing high quality administrative support across a variety of projects
  • Assisting with maintaining training records
  • Support the design and communicate administrative procedures for the booking of both in-house and external training courses

To be considered for this apprenticeship, you must have:

  • 5 GCSEs A – C, including Maths and English (9-4) or equivalent
  • A keen interest and passion for Learning & Development
  • Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in the full Microsoft Office suite
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise your own workload, considering future organisational requirements
  • A proactive and self-motivated personality, customer focused with a ‘can do’ attitude
  • Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in the full Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience working within a fast-paced office environment would be advantageous
