Ideagen has grown significantly over the past 12 months and to support this growth we are expanding our first class Inside Sales function. We are currently looking for a Sales Executive to come and join our vibrant and growing team at our Centre of Excellence in Nottingham. You’ll need to be enthusiastic and passionate about Sales and also be wanting to develop your career in a market leading software company. The role is based in our Ruddington Head Office. 
 
Key responsibilities: 
  • Working with and Hunting down new leads, to research the needs of the organisation and understand their buying processes
  • Achieve sales targets from new logo wins
  • Drive a sale from initial contact to close using a multitude of technology from your desk. 
  • Work with larger sales, ensuring that you upscale wherever possible and sell the value. 
  • Have a good understanding of your industry and trends within it. 
  • Understand and qualify needs and identify the decision makers within those organisations
  • Build a "cast of characters" especially including those within the C-Suite of major companies. 
  • Provide accurate reporting of sales activity and forecast. 
  • Flexible working, recognising that we cover a global market.
  • Using digital media platforms to strategically sell our software
 
 
To be considered for this role, you must have:
  • Understanding of "Hunter" culture and the drive to maintain this. 
  • Demonstrable proof of effective prospecting
  • Outstanding enthusiasm, passion and the determination to succeed
  • Demonstrable experience in lead generation with the ability to qualify genuine opportunities from these leads
  • Tech savvy with a keen eye on how to position Ideagen on various social media platforms 
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A natural enthusiasm and passion for sales alongside a determination to succeed
  • Proven working knowledge of IT and business software such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Salesforce
  • A desire to continually learn, pick up news skills and increase your knowledge of the sector and products
