Here at Ideagen we are excited to be recruiting for an ambitious and proactive Data Analyst to be part of our fantastic marketing team. Based at our head office in Ruddington, our the role will quickly become an integral part of the team, making sure our marketing content is producing the best results possible.

The new Data Analyst role will involve monitoring, analysing and reporting on the day to day performance of our websites and digital campaigns. You will provide insights and will be reporting back to the team and management on the success of the overall and digital marketing strategies.

Day to Day

  • Regularly monitor and analyse performance and effectiveness of our website and across all our digital channels and content to identify opportunities, gaps and ways to improve metrics and channel performance
  • Regularly analyse and measure the effectiveness of digital channels, marketing, and content, reporting back on success, failure, and any key learnings to support future work
  • Create reports and dashboards using datastudio and salesforce to showcase and demonstrate digital marketing performance, campaigns, and attribution to marketing qualified leads (MQLs) and sales revenue
  • Influence and shape the way we measure and attribute digital performance and marketing campaigns across the marketing function.
  • Use both quantitative and qualitative data and insights across our digital marketing channels and sources to better understand marketing and website activity and performance.
  • Regularly share results on digital marketing performance to the wider business to include the acquisition and retention marketing team (A&R), product teams, sales teams and senior management.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in digital, marketing, and data analytics.

 

Knowledge and Experience

 

  • Demonstrable experience in a previous digital performance or analytics role, ideally from a technology or software background and within a marketing or digital team
  • Analytical thinker, data focused, results driven, and able to problem solve whilst working collaboratively as part of a wider marketing team
  • Strong knowledge and an adept user of reporting and analytics tools and platforms, to include Google Analytics, Tag Manager and Datastudio
  • Proficient user of Salesforce and Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in marketing reporting, using both qualitative and quantitative data
  • Experience in data visualisation and building goal funnels
  • Experience using Pardot or another marketing automation tool an added bonus
  • Experience using content management systems, preferably Umbraco
  • Experience using SEO and social listening tools
  • Knowledge and understanding of attribution modelling/marketing attribution
