We are recruiting for a Content Manager to join our in-house marketing team based at our Head Office in Nottingham. As the Content Manager you will lead a team of marketing, e-learning and regulatory content authors between our two centres of excellence in the UK, Nottingham and Glasgow. As part of the marketing team, you will develop and drive our content strategy in the dynamic QHSE and ARC sectors where we operate.

Key responsibilities:

  • Schedule and supervise the team’s work and delivery
  • Work with internal stakeholders to develop content strategy, based on market intelligence and insight
  • Lead, coach, develop and support a team of 12 authors
  • Lead an increase in productivity by developing the team
  • Ensure timely, high quality delivery of content to the business


To be considered for this role, you must have:

Essential

  • Content Production
  • Excellent writing and editing skills on a variety of content types
  • People Management
  • Editorial/analyst experience in a B2B environment
  • Experience line-managing and developing a team
  • Approachable leader able to adapt management style to get the best out of different personalities
  • Ability to travel within the UK on a monthly basis

Desirable

  • Experience of working in the software industry would be an advantage
  • A relevant HE qualification such as degree or diploma in business or marketing or computer science

This role will require Regular (monthly) travel to Ideagen offices in the UK including Nottingham and East Kilbride. Occasional travel to overseas Ideagen offices. Some travel to customer sites.
